4 surgeries later...

I found my first breast lump at 18.

It got removed, and I was told something that will live rent-free in my brain forever:

“If we knew what causes breast lumps… we’d get a Nobel Prize.”

So basically: “Congrats on the surgery. Good luck with the mystery.” 🥲

"You need to birth kids to balance your hormones"
My second surgeon

After that, my body decided it didn’t want just one storyline  -  it wanted a whole Netflix series:
ovarian cysts, acne, PMS, heavy periods, mood swings, gut issues, food intolerances… the full cast, plus bonus episodes.

And the solutions I was offered?

  • Mood swings → antidepressants

  • Acne → antibiotics

  • Heavy periods → meds to reduce bleeding

  • Lumps → surgery

Every symptom got its own separate treatment plan -  like my body was 7 different people sharing one email inbox.

But no one ever stepped back and said:

“Wait… why is all of this happening at the same time?”

Fast forward to 2024: I developed three new lumps. Removed again.
And then came the advice that truly broke my last nerve:

“You should have kids — it might cure it, because kids renew your blood.”

I’m sorry… am I a printer cartridge? Do I need to reproduce to refresh my internal ink? 🫠

That was the moment I decided: I’m done being handed the same three options on repeat -  pills, antibiotics, and surgeries - while nobody connects the dots.

So I took matters into my own hands (with a lot of research, a lot of trial and error, and yes - a few “let me try this supplement” moments that I do not recommend doing without guidance).

But slowly, things started changing.

My gut calmed down.
My skin cleared.
My food intolerances eased.
My PMS stopped hijacking my life.
My periods normalised.
And most importantly: no new lumps.

I created Hormoni Health because I don’t want women to spend 10 years being dismissed, treated symptom-by-symptom, and left to figure it out alone at 2am with 14 tabs open and a half-cold cup of tea.

We deserve help that looks at the whole picture -  with science, empathy, and a plan that actually fits real life.

If you’ve ever been told “it’s normal” while you feel anything but normal - you’re in the right place.

Important note: Always get breast lumps checked by a qualified medical professional. This is my personal story and not medical advice.
